Vintage Blue Rosette & Yellow Medallion Drop Earrings

Color, geometry and movement come together in this unusual pair of Afghan statement earrings.

A blue-and-turquoise rosette forms the top of each earring, followed by a vivid yellow teardrop-shaped glass accent. At the bottom, a large articulated circular medallion with a softly hammered texture gives the pair movement and an aged, sculptural finish.

The contrast between jewel-like color and substantial metalwork makes them expressive without being as ornate as some of the heavily fringed pieces in the collection.
